The Barker Hanger in Barker, California, hosted the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards on June 5, 2022. This ceremony is held each year to honour the best in film and television. Tom Holland, Zendaya, Ryan Reynolds, and Scarlett Johansson all made it big at the 30th MTV Movie and Awards.
1. Spider-Man: No Way Home – Best Movie
The third instalment of Marvel’s Spider-Man series, Spider-Man: No Way Home, won Best Movie at the 2022 MTV Awards. Guest stars included Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
2. Euphoria – Best Show
‘Euphoria,’ an American teen drama, won Best Show at the 2022 MTV Awards. Zendaya played the lead role.
3. Tom Holland – Best Performance in a Movie
The best performance in a movie was given to Tom Holland for his role in Spider-man: No Way Home.
4. Zendaya – Best Performance in a Show
Zendaya won Best Performance for her role in American teen drama Euphoria. Created and principally written by Sam Levinson for HBO and based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin. The series’ main character is Rue Bennett (Zendaya), a recovering teenage drug addict who struggles to find her place in the world, and follows a group of high school students through their experiences of identity, trauma, drugs, self-harm, family, friendships, love, and sex.
5. Scarlett Johansson – Best Hero
Scarlett Johansson won Best Hero at the 2022 MTV Awards for her role in the film Black Widow Produced by Marvel Studios.
5. Ryan Reynolds – Best Comedic Performance
Ryan Reynolds won Best Comedic Performance for his role in Free Guy at the 2022 MTV Awards.
