REVIEW: RRR – Rise Roar Revolt
When challenged with a motorcycle barreling toward him, the rebel hero N. T. Rama Rao Jr. kicks it out of the way by grabbing the front wheel, and uses it to crush numerous opponents. That, my friends, is RRR – An Action Blockbuster movie.
The last time filmmaker SS Rajamouli dazzled an audience was with Baahubali: The Conclusion in 2017. It took him five years to write, direct, and produce RRR. It would seem that pulling off a multi-starrer with Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the major roles is a feat in itself.
With a budget of ₹550 crore (second only to Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0, which cost ₹575 crore) and the highest opening day collection by an Indian film ₹242 crore. RRR has just become the fifth highest grossing Indian film of all time.
The British want Bheem (Jr. NTR) captured, and Raju (Ram Charan) is the one who can do it. In this over-the-top action adventure which includes a human pyramid of massive proportions provide the film its most memorable moments.
