BOX OFFICE: ‘Vikram’ Crosses 100 Crores Nn Tamil Nadu
Vikram performed admirably on its second Friday, grossing Rs. 11 crores, bringing its total to about Rs. 175 crores in just eight days. If pre-sales are any indication, the film’s second weekend business should be comfortably over Rs. 40 crores, allowing it to surpass Rs. 200 crores..
The film broke another record in the state yesterday, grossing Rs. 7 crores, surpassing Baahubal-2.
The box office collections of Vikram at the Indian box office are as follows:
- Week One – Rs. 165 crores
- Friday – Rs. 10 crores
Total – Rs. 175 crores
VIKRAM is the tenth highest grossing picture in the state with Rs. 105 crores, pushing Super Star Rajinikanth’s PETTA out of the top ten. It will cross KGF Chapter 2 Today and Beast Tomorrow to become the state’s largest grosser of the year, with a good possibility of breaking into the top five all-time ahead of Viswasam.
